Why even bother with photos?

Have you ever gotten annoyed at someone saying "get over here and let me get your picture?"  I have, tons of times. Growing up, I would feel so silly standing there waiting for the camera to go, click. Then I joined the Army, and I was on a tank! To quote the movie Furry, "Best job I ever had." But I don't have very many photos to show for it.  I mean, after all, I was on a tank and it's not masculine to take photos right?  My same thoughts occurred while I was deployed to Iraq. Now the only photos I have are the ones that I was forced to be in. If I could go back in time, I'd yell at myself "Take the Photo!"

Having a photo session may feel annoying.  You have to meet up at a certain place, at a certain time. Your significant other wants you to dress nice. I get it.  However, I also know how much you will cherish these moments for years to come as well.  One day, your grandchildren will be over and point at a photo and ask about it.  You'll look at the photo and start smiling because a flood of memories just came back. All of a sudden you remembered how "annoyed" you were, but you'll also remember how amazing your wife looked.  You'll remember how afterwards you went to eat at your favorite restaurant. Then the stories around that time keep coming.  You'll have so much to share and it was all thanks to one photograph that you were annoyed at taking.

I started William Gore Photography because I don't want others to make the same mistake that I made.  I want you and your family to be able to look back and smile at the memories that come flooding back.  That's why I offer all different types of sessions, from Sports Photography, to Couples Photography, Engagement Photos, Weddings, and Maternity Shoots. Before the shoot, we will have a conversation that covers everything from the time and location to how many poses we can do.  I want to make sure you have the confidence that I'm going to capture the moment perfectly.  It doesn't matter if you live in Elizabethtown, Radcliff, Vine Grove, Rineyville, Shepherdsville, Fort Knox, or Louisville, William Gore Photography gladly provide top quality photography services.
